Sir, - Our political leaders have hit the bottom. Just think of it. Against what is clearly the view of the vast majority of the population, they have decided to finance their party political activities from the taxpayer's money. This decision was taken without an objection from even one member of the Dail.
What can ordinary people do? The only solution is to boycott TDs of all parties. Refuse to talk to them refuse to serve them and their families in the local shops and, most important of all, do not invite them to any meeting or function, which is their lifeblood. This will show John Bruton Bertie Ahern, Mary Harney and Frank Ross what we think of their antics.
