Sir, - In response to Mr John Tierney's letter (August 21st) on the early season hunting of foxes, I wish to state that all hunt clubs working under The Hunting Association of Ireland rules and procedures recognise a season for hunting with hounds from August to March. Others cull foxes and indeed do so all the year round. - Yours, etc.,
