Sir, – The enormous trout pictured on the Front page (May 28th) is great publicity for angling tourism, but don’t expect too many visitors to find their way to the lovely little village of Clonbur and its wonderful hostelries.
I think I can safely say that every single road sign in the area has it with its Irish language name of An Fhairche – which is fair enough given that it is in a Gaeltacht area. But how much more helpful we could be to visiting motorists by including Clonbur as a subtitle. – Yours, etc,
