Sir, - In order for RTE to cut the cost of staging the next Eurovision, why don't they scrap the songs, and just go straight to the voting? We all know that countries do not allocate marks based on merit - that's why the British usually give us nul point.
Each country should merely arrive on stage dressed in their usual dowdy Euro garb and take a bow. After all the entrants have taken their bows, let the voting commence.
