Madam, - What does "ethnic Kerryman" Mr John O'Donoghue, Minister for Arts (Interview, July 15th), have against "professors of English literature at Trinity College"? Until recently Brendan Kennelly was professor of modern literature at Trinity College, and I seem to recall that that gentleman also has some connections with Kerry.
Perhaps he's not ethnic? - Yours, etc.,
