Sir, - I wish to support the sentiments expressed by Ms Bryan (January 30th) concerning the state of Dublin's squares.
The visual impact of the Squares could be vastly improved by the early removal of refuse by Dublin Corporation. it is disappointing to see refuse piled high against railings and spilling down steps at mid morning.
In addition, some system of washing the city's pavements would enhance the environment for all. - Yours, etc.
