Sir, - As a visitor to Ireland, I am appalled at the lack of room, facilities, and cleanliness of your premier airport at Dublin. Any investment which improves access to check-in, signage, passenger facilities after customs and gate access would be welcome and overdue.
I have lived, worked and travelled in China and all the airports I have used there make Dublin appear a slum.
As to the future, I shall be looking for other ways to enter Ireland, since the leaving is all too painful.
Please ensure that your gateway does credit to the Irish and make adequate funds available for improvement and expansion to cope with the few demands of the fare- and fee-paying public. - Yours, etc.,
