Madam, – Olivia Kelly (Home News, July 12th) tells us Dublin City Council is seeking tenders from waste companies to process 300,000 tonnes of household waste annually over the next three years or until the Poolbeg incinerator is operational. Yet it is proposing to build a 600,000-tonne per annum incinerator. Where is the extra 300,000 tonnes to fill the incinerator capacity to come from ? – Yours, etc,
