Sir, - In response to Ronit Lentin's letter of November 4th - if she wishes to wash her dirty linen in public, I feel obliged to provide an alternative viewpoint. A sophisticated human rights campaigner like herself should be aware that nobody (Christian, Muslim, Jew etc) can travel without the proper documents.
The majority of Israelis, including Benjamin Nethanyahu, are committed to a just and secure peace and the incident referred to in her letter has no bearing on that goal.
