Madam, – I welcome the Taoiseach’s gesture of asking all 20 junior Ministers to resign their posts so that he can drop five of them. This will probably save the country less than €400,000.
Why doesn’t he do something really worthwhile such as asking all 166 TDs to resign, then we out here in the real world could re-select about 100 of them on June 5th when the local and European elections take place.
One hundred TDs would be more than enough to govern this small country. – Yours, etc,
