Sir, – Once the Taoiseach has stopped flip-flopping on the issue of Roscommon County Hospital he might tell us whether the junior doctor staff shortages will cause the same cutbacks to occur in a hospital a bit closer to his own heart: Castlebar Hospital.
I seem to remember similar flip-flopping from the Taoiseach on the issue of cancer care being moved out of his constituency in his time in opposition.
It would of course be unthinkable that the new Ministers, in a Government so set on political reform, would seek to protect services in their own constituencies over others, as has happened in the past. Or would it? – Yours, etc,
