Sir, - In your account of the Fine Gael dinner in the Burlington (April 18th) you state that Arthur Griffith was the first head of the Provisional Government.
He was never head of the Provisional Government. Michael Collins was. W T Cosgrave succeeded Collins in July, 1922, when Collins relinquished the position on rejoining the Army during the Civil War. - Yours, etc.,
