Senior members of the clergy have had allegations of sexual abuse of children by their subordinates and colleagues made to them. These accusations were verified by some of the accused clergy.
Why has the clergy of "accessory after the fact" not been invoked? Surely this is an issue for central importance for anyone concerned with or for the administration of justice.
Does this issue not essentially involve the violation of totally dependent children by adults charged with their care and the subsequent "covering up", if not by intent, then in effect, of such gross criminal activity by other adults fully cognisant with it? - Yours, etc.,
