Madam, – At least the recession is not putting its grimy little hands on the dental profession. I have just been relieved of €100 for a 20- minute session of tooth-cleaning, yielding a rate of pay which is probably more than a TD with a few ministerial pensions.
One good thing: I did not have to make a fresh cup of tea when I got home, as the one I left was still warm. – Yours, etc,
