Sir, - In your "Presbyterian Notes" (August 31st) you state that the present Church of Ireland church in Carrigart was built on the site of the old Presbyterian church. This is not correct; the present C of I church was built beside the old C of I church.
The old Presbyterian church was near the C of I church, and it and the site were sold to the Leitrim Estate for £150, the Presbyterian congregation to remove all material. This site was then incorporated in the C of I churchyard, which was thus enlarged; but there is no church built on the site of the old Presbyterian church. Yours, etc.,
