Sir, - Further to British displeasure at a retention of "Foreign Affairs" in an Irish subtitle at the time (Gnothai Eachtrai) the Ministers and Secretaries Bill (1923) adjusted as follows:
"(xi) The Department of External Affairs shall comprise . . . and of which Department the head shall be and shall be styled, an tAire Gnothai Coigriche or (in English) the Minister for External Affairs." - Yours, etc.,
Mount Merrion,
Co Dublin.
