Madam, – Shame on Irish Rail for allowing NCP personnel to clamp cars at Dart stations on St Patrick’s Day. I witnessed this at lunchtime on Tuesday.
The victims were some of the families who had taken the advice of Irish Rail to travel by Dart to attend the parade in the city centre. On their return, they would now find the evil yellow clamp on their car.
What a way to ruin a wonderful day. – Yours, etc,
Madam, – The lovely weather on St Patrick’s Day made gardening all the more enjoyable – the tranquillity broken only, at regular intervals, by the wailing of sirens coming from ambulances, fire brigades and squad cars rushing hither and thither. Hailing glorious St Patrick, no doubt. – Yours etc,
