Madam, - The series of photographs in your edition of March 18th, showing the brutal killing of an unarmed girl by an Israeli Army bulldozer should not leave us speechless!
We certainly cannot leave it to the present Israeli regime to speak the truth. When is an "accident" not an accident? When the Israeli Army says it is an "accident" . When is a murder not a murder? When the Israeli spokesmen say it is a "targeted assassination". When is a terrorist not a terrorist? When wearing an Israeli army uniform.
When is the world going to wake up to the current vicious regime operated by Israel, and organise a South Africa-style boycott of Israeli goods and services? This is not likely to occur while the weak leader of the most powerful and otherwise most admirable nation - the US - is persuaded by the double-speak of pro-Israeli hawks in the Pentagon to embark on Israel's proxy war against the Arab world. - Yours, etc.,
GERRY MOLLOY, Collins Avenue, Dublin 9.
