Madam, - We are carrying out exploratory research into the early history of Buddhism in Ireland.
We are interested in people who identified themselves as Buddhists or practised Buddhism in Ireland at any time before 1975. We are also interested to know of people who were strongly influenced by Buddhism, as well as any evidence of particular opposition to Buddhist ideas or influence.
We are also of course interested in interviewing people who were themselves Buddhists in Ireland in this period, and in other kinds of reference that readers may be aware of.
