Sir, The Irish Times (December 17th) erroneously listed me a current member of the board of the Blood Transfusion Service Board. Although appointed to the board in 1994, I resigned on April 3rd. The reasons for my resignation were made clear to the Blood "Transfusion Service Board and to the Minister for Health.
