Sir, - The decision of the leading supermarket chain to discontinue stocking "suspect" beef is an interesting one.

I await their decision to discontinue stocking cigarettes and other tobacco products which are a proven health hazard not only to the consumer but to anybody within reasonable proximity of them. - Yours, etc.,
