Madam, - Is there a policy in Irish banks to coerce customers to use ATM machines? There is never a full complement of tellers serving customers. If there are eight points which serve customers, usually three or four are closed, causing unnecessary queues.

Many senior citizens feel unsafe using Atoms as the machines are outside the bank, as they are liable to be mugged. - Yours, etc.,
