Madam, - With regard to Patricia Quinn's article of February 6th, why should we not hear from Punch and Judy? Irish society and its artists value all forms of art and are attempting to argue that the many and varied voices be heard.
By suggesting that two such highly respected and popular artists be silenced, she provides further evidence of the Arts Council's current attitude and explains why it has withdrawn funding from talented artists within our society. - Yours, etc.,
