Sir, I was very amused by Kevin Myers's article on Aer Lingus, and in particular his annoyance at the excuse given for delays. Imagine Bus Eireann apologising for a delay by blaming it on the late arrival of the incoming bus!
As one who travels widely all over the world, I can say that the name Aer Lingus in the article could be replaced by that of any other airline and it would be equally true, except for the friendly part. Yours, etc,
