Madam, – The Government should make a deal with the public sector unions that it will restore their wages to the 2008 level when future GNP (gross national product) again reaches the 2008 level.
All must pull together for this to be achieved and a fair division will promote solidarity. A sectional gain at the expense of the private sector will make it impossible to reach this modest target.
We all should work to make the national cake bigger; it is better to get a quarter slice of a 4kg cake than to get a half slice of a 1kg cake. – Yours, etc,
