Sir, – The pollution of Lough Neagh is so great “it could be viewed from space” (Tommy Greene, “Toxic algae are once again turning Lough Neagh green. The response is as stagnant as the water”, Opinion & Analysis, July 23rd).
As satellites can now read car number plates, this is no longer an adequate measure of the enormity of the problem.
