A chara, – Is it just me or do other bill payers also feel perplexed and infuriated at the way utility charges have mutated over the years? Whose idea was it to penalise loyalty by substantially increasing charges when a contract expires and at the same time rewarding new customers with lower rates?
If a customer has the emotional energy and time to call the provider and wrangle at length it is possible to broker a deal comparable to newcomers’ as I did today with a certain broadband provider.
What’s that all about?
Such disingenuous shenanigans by the utility providers needs to be legislated against before I lose the will to live.
