Sir, – Michael McDowell in his (usually excellent) opinion piece was unable to fathom why the Minister for the Environment and Climate has “set his face against” developing Irish offshore gas fields.
Has he heard of the climate crisis or noticed the extreme weather events around the world? Perhaps he’s living on Planet B! – Yours, etc,
