Sir, - It was good to see one of your columnists bringing insight and awareness to something currently on offer at the Irish Film Centre: I refer to Michael Dwyer's sensitive and comprehensive review of David Wellington's film Long Day's Journey into Night, based on Eugene O'Neill's play.Dwyer pointed up beautifully both the relentless dramatic power of the film, as well as its specifically cinematographic qualities.The contrast between his review and the lamentally inept review of the film on Anna Livia Radio made me very angry, indeed.
