An article in last Monday’s edition, concerning a doctors’ conference in Galway at the weekend, quoted Suzanne Browne of Mediasec Ireland referring to compensation cases taken in relation to a contraceptive device “which is inserted in a woman’s uterus”.
Ms Browne said that the device is inserted into a woman’s upper arm. The error occurred in the editing process.
