In an opinion article in last Saturday’s edition, concerning antidepressant drugs, it was stated incorrectly that paroxetine is known as prozac. In fact, paroxetine is known as seroxat, while fluoxetine’s trade name is prozac. Also, the trade name and the proprietary name of another drug were mistakenly juxtaposed. Citalopram is the drug’s proprietary name, while cipramil is its trade name.
