A TEENAGE boy was arrested for questioning yesterday after a woman was sexually assaulted by four young men who offered her a lift home.

The 31-year-old woman accepted a lift home from four men in a van as she was leaving a party in Brooklodge, Glanmire, in Cork city sometime after 1am on Sunday.

The woman was walking near Glanmire when she was offered a lift by the men, who are not thought to have been known to her. The woman was forced to engage in sex acts with the occupants of the van.

The men stole her handbag before throwing her out of the van in the Monkstown area of Cork at 4am. They also went to the woman’s home and stole her car.
