Footage has emerged of a driver has narrowly escaping being crushed by a boulder in Taiwan.

A video caught in recent days by a car’s dashboard camera shows the large rock sliding from a mountain onto the road during a landslide. The boulder which is the size of a large truck came to a sudden stop just shy of hitting the car.

The incident took place on a coastal road in Taiwan during recent storms. There are no reports of any major injuries from the incident.

At least three people have been killed in Taiwan after torrential rain and widespread flooding was caused by Tropical Storm Kong-Rey in recent days, the government has said.
