Paris - Visitors bound for Disneyland-Paris emerged from the high-speed train yesterday to be greeted by several hundred strikers from five of the theme park's unions, making their first joint protest since the site opened seven years ago.
The strikers want a pay rise above the current £900 a month before taxes. They had also been looking forward to a £200 year-end bonus, given Disney's high millennium charges, but have been told they will get £70.
No one can predict how long the strike will continue.
