A man has died in a workplace accident at Dublin Airport.
The man, who worked for aircraft maintenance company SR Technics, suffered severe head injuries after falling while de-icing a plane at the airport early this morning.
He was taken to Beaumont Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A spokeswoman for SR Technics said the man had been employed by the company for many years. It is understood he was in his late 50s.

The spokesman said SR Technics was fully complying with the investigation being undertaken by the Health and Safety Authority into the incident.
HSA inspectors examined the scene of the accident this morning.
