England coach Clive Woodward today moved rugby league convert Jason Robinson from wing to fullback for Saturday's test match against Australia at Twickenham.
Robinson, who will be making only his second full international start for England since switching codes, must now adapt to one of the most tactically demanding positions in rugby against the Wallabies.
Woodward has also dropped long-serving prop Jason Leonard.
Leonard won his 92nd cap against Ireland in Dublin last month as England failed in a Grand Slam bid for the third year in a row. He is one of seven players to pay the price for that defeat.
Elsewhere, Leicester back Austin Healey is denied the chance to start at scrum-half in place of the injured Matt Dawson. Saracens's Kyran Bracken fills in at scrumhalf, and Healey returns to the left wing.
