A woman in her fifties was injured in a stabbing in Marino, Dublin, last night.
The woman was walking her dog at St Aidan's Park shortly after 10 p.m. when she was attacked by a young man.
She was stabbed five times in the incident and suffered injuries to her arms, side and abdomen.
She was brought to the Mater Hospital for treatment, but has been released.
