A Liberian woman who sent stolen passports to Nigeria has received a three-year suspended sentence from Judge Dominic Lynch in Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

Tessy Lade Ojadubu (32), South Circular Road, Dublin, pleaded guilty to four counts of handling stolen property on April 11th, 2000.

Judge Lynch, who gave her six months to pay a £160 fine - £40 for each count - was told she was waiting to hear the outcome of her appeal against refusal of refugee status here.
