The body of a woman was taken from the sea off the Waterford coast earlier this evening.
The body was spotted by people on a yacht sailing in Tramore Bay.
It was recovered from the water by Dunmore East lifeboat and taken to Ardkeen Hospital in Waterford.
An investigation, headed by Gardai in Waterford, is now underway.
