A 67-year-old woman was killed when the car she was driving was in collision yesterday with a lorry at Carrickcarnan, Co Louth, on the main Dublin-Belfast road, close to the Border. A male passenger was seriously injured. The driver of the lorry was shocked but not injured, according to gardai.
