A 29-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the murder of a businessman in Antrim last year.
Geoff Kerr (60) was shot dead during a struggle with intruders at his home in Templepatrick, Co Antrim, on April 27th.
Mr Kerr, who was also a member of the Ulster Unionist Party, was shot in the chest in the hallway of his home by two gunmen posing as takeaway food delivery staff.
Mr Kerr's wife, Sally, and the youngest of his four sons, were present at the scene of the murder.
This afternoon, a police spokesman said a 29-year-old woman was arrested in the Antrim area this morning and is being questioned by detectives investigating the murder.
A number of people have already appeared in court charged with the murder of the Ballymena-born financial adviser.
