A woman in her 20s was killed in a crash in Co Tipperary last night.
The crash happened shortly before 10pm on the N24 about 2 km from Kilsheelan in Co Tipperary, when the woman's car was in collision with an articulated truck.
She was the sole occupant in the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her body was removed to Waterford Regional Hospital. The driver of the truck was not injured.
Gardaí have appealed for anyone with information to contact Clonmel Garda station on 052 61 77640.
Gardaí are also seeking witnesses to a fatal crash at Curleyland, Athboy, Co.Meath at about 3.15am yesterday morning. A 23-year-old woman died when her car crashed into a ditch. Detectives would like to speak to anyone who travelled along the road about the time of the crash.
Meanwhile, four people were injured in a car crash in west Cork early this morning. The car in which they were traveling crashedon the Beara Peninsula at about 4am. There were no other cars involved.
None of the four people are said to be in a life-threatening condition.
