The judge described Erica Deeter (18), of Streamstown, Malahide, as "a most unruly female" after she pleaded guilty to assaulting Garda John Cullen in Malahide Garda station on April 5th. She also admitted causing a breach of the peace in Smiths pub, Malahide.

Garda Cullen told Swords District Court that when he tried to take a hold all from Deeter in the cell, she bit him on the left shoulder. He had blood tests and injections and was out of work for a week.

Deeter admitted the bite but said it was because there were five male gardai with her in the cells. Four were holding her arms and legs and Garda Cullen was standing on top of her to take off her shoes.
