A mother of five accused of murdering 16-year-old Thomas McDonald by allegedly ramming her car into his bicycle was freed on bail yesterday.

Ms Alison McKeown (32) was warned by a judge in the High Court in Belfast to stay away from the Whitewell area where the teenager was killed last week.

Ms McKeown denies the charge of murder.

Her lawyer handed into the court an address outside Belfast where Ms McKeown could live and see her children pending her trial.
