A second man is being questioned by Garda this evening in connection with the abduction of a woman in her 50s near Carlow town this morning.
Gardaí say the woman was found safe and well after a raid on a house in Tramore, Co Waterford this evening.
Two men, aged 50 and 21, were arrested in the raid.
A Garda spokeswoman said: "The 21-year-old was arrested after gardaí from Carlow and Tramore entered a premises at around 8.15pm in Tramore town and located the 50-year-old woman. She was located safe and well and has been returned to her family."

The woman was forcibly removed from her home in Graigcullen at around 5am and taken away by a gang of six men in a van.
It is understood at least one of the men was known to the woman.
