AN 83 year old woman who was locked into the kitchen of her home in Raheny by intruders is said to be making a good recovery.
She was confronted by a young man and woman who called to her home in St Assam's Road, Raheny, at around 5.30 p.m. on Monday. They grabbed and pushed her down the hallway into the kitchen and locked her in while they searched the house for money.
The woman believes the couple stole only £10 in cash which she had for shopping. She was trapped in the kitchen for four hours before being able to free herself and alert neighbours, who called gardai.
