A 34 year-old woman was charged today with murdering her partner in a stabbing incident at their home in East Belfast last weekend.
Belfast Magistrates Court was told Ms Pauline Rutherford, from Invernook Drive, replied to the charge: "Just say sorry to his family that I've done it, I didn't mean to do it."
Her partner William Samuel McClure, also aged 34, died in hospital on Sunday night.
Ms Rutherford was remanded in custody until July 25th.
