Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to a Co Galway road crash yesterday in which a woman (38) died.
The sole occupant of the car died when her vehicle hit a wall at Colemanstown, Menlough, at 4.30pm.
Gardaí are asking anyone who was on the road between Colemanstown and Gurteen between 3pm and 4.30pm yesterday to contact gardaí in Ballinasloe on 090-9631890, the Garda Confidential Line on 1-800-666-111 or any Garda station.
The road was closed for examination but has since reopened.
