The following is the programme of one-day strike action by the Association of Secondary Teachers, Ireland (ASTI) due to begin tomorrow week.

Schools are set to close for nine days between now and Easter. Students have already lost nine school days as a result of industrial action and a work-to-rule before Christmas.

ASTI has also voted to withdraw from all exam work from February 3rd if the strike is unresolved.

Tuesday, January 16th: One-day strike action in all secondary schools in Dublin city and county.
