Boolavogue in Co Wexford was abuzz with rumours last night as Saturday’s National Lottery jackpot winners who bought their ticket in the village, claimed their spoils.

The winners, from Wexford, who collected their €7,373,469 windfall at National Lottery headquarters in Dublin yesterday, have decided to remain anonymous.

Their jackpot was made bigger by the addition of €1,000,000 added by the National Lottery to celebrate Halloween.

“Were absolutely delighted. This has come completely out of the blue and we are now looking forward to making plans, and helping out family and friends,” said the winners over a glass of champagne at Lotto headquarters.
